Rancho Cucamonga High from California placed five scorers in the top 11 to win the Division 1-2 girls team sweepstakes race at the 74th Mt. SAC Cross Country Invitational Presented by Nike in Walnut, Calif. Madilyn Siana covered the 2.93-mile course in 17:54 to finish fourth, Nicole Alfred secured sixth in 18:10, Braelyn Combe placed seventh in 18:12, Jaden Miura took 10th in 18:23 and Malia Reinhold was 11th, also in 18:23, to help Rancho Cucamonga secure a 38-93 victory against Great Oak. Natalie Esquibel grabbed 41st in 19:20 and Braelyn Keiser finished 58th in 19:53 for the Cougars, who snapped a 12-year reign for Great Oak as the top Division 1 girls program at the Mt. SAC Cross Country Invitational, becoming the first Division 1 program since Dana Hills in 2008 to prevail against the Wolfpack after finishing 13th last season. Mira Costa and Anaheim Canyon both placed ahead of Great Oak in last year's Division 1-2 team sweepstakes, but both programs competed in Division 2. More videos
